While running for APU, the women’s Cross Country team was the 2008 national champions and the women’s Outdoor Track and Field team was the 2010 National champions. In Track and Field, Kayla primarily competed in distance events and specialized in the 3000m Steeplechase. She is also a five-time All American.
Coach John and Coach Kayla have been married for five years now. They have two little boys together. Kayla and John have always been Christian athletes and God’s love has always been the foundation of their training. They felt God calling them to use their experiences to serve Him by coaching other young athletes. Their desire is to help our athletes improve athletically, strengthen themselves mentally, and most importantly, create an environment where they can grow as young Christian athletes.
