Eagles News · Southlands Softball loses to Western Christian

Sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn. Wednesday’s game was a learning opportunity for the Southlands Christian Eagles. Coach Marvel stated, “If everything were easy all of the time, there wouldn’t be much room for growth. Games like these provide the girls a chance to see how good we are. Do we learn, fight, and bounce back? Or do we feel sorry for ourselves and keep our heads down?” Western Christian is a solid hitting team, collecting 12 hits on the day. Junior pitcher, Amelia Weber, held the Lady Eagles to four hits and no runs. Damaris Granda, Bella Lopez, Maya Jenkins, and Becky Alonso collected those hits.

The Lady Eagles next game comes against league opponent, Calvary Chapel Downey on Tuesday, April 13 at 2:00pm.
